ACEMAPP is excited to introduce the new “faux view” feature, which allows coordinators to view a student’s home page exactly as the student sees it. This feature provides a clearer understanding of how important information, such as announcements, requirements, and other important details, are presented to students, improving the way coordinators can support their students.
While using the faux view, coordinators can only view the student’s dashboard. They are unable to interact with it in any way, meaning they cannot click on items, view private information, or take actions on behalf of the student. This ensures that the feature is purely used for observational purposes and offers a better insight into how students experience the platform.
The faux view is an optional feature and can be enabled upon request. If you would like to begin using this feature, please contact us for assistance.
For coordinators who wish to use the faux view, a step-by-step guide is available to help you navigate the feature. You can access the guide at collaboration.acemapp.org/kb/258.
By offering a firsthand look at the student dashboard, the faux view enhances communication and support, ultimately helping coordinators manage and assist students more effectively throughout their clinical education journey.
