Assign Students to a Course

You may assign students and course admins to all required courses for their program at once. Their courses and requirements are not visible until the course start date.

Student by Affiliation

Step 1:

From your home screen, click on the "Members" tab, then click "Student" or the appropriate member type under Affiliation.

Step 2:

Put a check next to the student(s) you would like to assign to the course.

Step 3:

Once you have all of your student(s) selected, click "Select" in the nav-bar, then "Assign to Course".

Step 4:

Complete the fields:

  1. Select the "Course Number" and "Name".
  2. Select “NEW” from the rotation dropdown.
  3. Select the correct "Program" from the dropdown list.
  4. Select your "Course Admin" (faculty) from the drop-down;
    • This is very important for the various approvals required for course-related forms and documents.
  5. Select a course "Start Date" and change the "End Date" (if the end date that populates automatically is incorrect).

NOTE: Looking at the table, you see a column with an Access End Date , this date is when the member will no longer have access to your location in ACEMAPP. Please contact ACEAMPP support to update the members Access End Date.

If you initially selected the wrong member, just "uncheck" them from this screen before clicking "Save".

Step 5:

Depending on what you would like to complete next, you can select one of three options:

Submit and Manage
This feature creates the course assignment and take you to the edit section of the rotation (course schedule). On the edit screen, you are then able to turn on the Faculty Document Access feature by switching the yes/no toggle to Yes. This feature also allows the assigned course administrator/faculty access to approve forms, requirements, and documents for their students.
Submit & Reuse
This feature allows you to add the same group of students to another course.
Submit & Go Back
This feature creates a course assignment for the students and take you back to your student table.

Student by Rotation

You can also add students to courses in progress.

Step 1:

From your home screen, click on the "Members" tab, then click "Student" under the Rotation section.

Step 2:

Locate the student(s) you would like to assign to the course.

  • There are a couple of ways you can complete this step:

    • You can search by Tags, by Name, or by Rotation ID.
    • You can also sort each field (Rotation ID, Rotation Start Date, Name (First and Last), or Tags).
  • When you locate the student(s), "check" the box next to their name(s).

Step 3:

Once you have all your students selected, click on the "Select" button, then click "Assign to Course" image shows student selected and select to assign to course

Step 4:

Bulk add to Courses

Step 5:

Then either select an "Existing Course Assignment or create a new course assignment by selecting a "Program", "Course Admin", "Start Date", and update the "End Date" if you want a different end date besides the default.image bulk add to existing course in the system

Step 6:
