Approving Member Affiliation Incoming/Outgoing Requests

As an ACEMAPP Coordinator you can manage affiliations of members or users that are still pending approval, either your approval or theirs.

Step 1:

From your home screen, click on "Members", then in the Affiliation column, click on the member type.

Step 2:

From your Members table, click on the "Pending Member Approval" or "Pending Entity Approval" tab.

Step 3:

To edit the member click the "Edit" (pencil) icon.

Step 4:

On the Edit Member Joins screen you can see the current request(s).

If the Status is "Pending Entity Approval" you can either Approve or Deny by selecting the appropriate selection in the Status drop-down.

NOTE: If the Status is "Pending Member Approval" you can only Delete the request.

Then enter the "Access End Date".

The Access End Date, previously known as the Graduation Date, is used to clarify when the student should no longer have access to your Entity. Once this date arrives, the student will automatically lose its active affiliation with your organization.

Optionally, if this member is an Employee, you can change the toggle to "Yes" to indicate an Employee in ACEMAPP's system.

Adding Additional Programs to the Request

Prior to clicking the Save button, you can add additional programs to the request.

The new Program will then be sent back to the member for them to approve.

Step 5:

Click "Save" to save changes, and to be taken back to the Active tab of the Members table.

Single Access End Date

If the request has multiple programs attached to it, selecting the Use Single Access End Date to "Yes" and then entering a valid date in the field, will populate that date to all programs in the request.
