Rotation Conflict Checker

The Conflict Checker can be used to ensure no scheduling conflicts with other rotations. The Conflict Checker will search for any conflicts based on the following fields: Unit, Start/End Date, Days of the Week, and Shift Start/End.

Step 1:

To get to the Conflict Checker area from your Home Page, start by selecting "Rotations" in the navigation bar.

Step 2:

On the Rotations table, click the "Edit" button in the Actions column next to the rotation you want to check conflicts for.

Step 3:

Click on the "Conflicts" tab in the navigation bar at the top of the Manage Rotation page. This will display any conflicting rotation requests based on the following fields:

  • Unit
  • Start and End Dates
  • Shift Start and End Times
  • Days of the Week

Note: As data is updated in each field in the Edit box of the rotation request, the Conflict Checker will update to reflect the currently entered information.

The Conflict Checker box lists all rotation scheduling conflicts.

The Checked Against box lists the dates used to search for a conflicting rotation.

Note: A Check for Conflicts button at the bottom of the rotation request Edit box can be used to check for conflicts based on the information entered. Clicking on this button takes you to the Conflicts tab.

Please follow these steps to create a rotation request with one of your partnered entities in ACEMAPP.
Review Rotation Requests
Reviewing rotation requests is an essential step in coordinating clinical rotations. Click the "Edit" (pencil) icon to view the details of the rotation request and decide using the status drop-down. You may also use the "Quick Decide" feature to see a brief overview of the request and decide.
Rotation Comments
Commenting on rotations is a great way to communicate with your school or clinical site partners regarding a particular rotation. Each comment left on a rotation will trigger an automatic email notification to other coordinators who share the same program.
