Reviewing rotation requests is an essential step in coordinating clinical rotations. You may either use the "Quick Decide" feature, the "Edit" button to view more information and approve or deny requests, or use the "Bulk Decide" option.

Use the Quick Decide feature to manage your rotations

Step 1:

From your Home Page, click the "Rotations" tab in your navigation bar.

Step 2:

Under the "Actions" column, click the "Quick Decide" (gavel icon) button to make changes to the rotation status.

Step 3:

A pop-up menu will appear, where you may quickly update the rotation status to "Pending," "Approved," "Denied," or "Needs Info" from the drop-down menu.

Once you have selected the correct status, click "Submit".

NOTE: If you do not want to decide on that rotation, click "Cancel" to return to your Rotations Table.


Use the Edit feature to manage and review your rotations requests

Step 1:

From your Home Page, click the "Rotations" tab in your navigation bar.

Step 2:

Under the Actions column, click the "Edit" (pencil icon) button.

Step 3:

The Rotation Request Form will display the details of the request. Confirm all of the details are correct in the form before updating the status of the rotation to "Pending," "Approved," "Denied," or "Needs Info" at the bottom of the form.

Once you have confirmed all details and selected the desired status, click "Save" to update the rotation status.

Step 4:

You have the option to comment on the rotation if additional information is needed or to provide any information you would like to share with the school coordinator(s).

Use the Bulk Decide option to bulk manage rotation requests

Step 1:

From your Home Page, click the "Rotations" tab in your navigation bar.

Step 2:

On the Rotations page, change the view to the appropriate rotation experience and status (Pending, Pre-pending, Approved, Denied, etc.). Typically, you will be managing the Pending rotations.

Step 3:

Sort or Search as needed to select the appropriate rotations. Select the rotation(s) by checking the checkbox on the left of the table in the same row as the rotation.

NOTE: The checked rotation will stay checked while you change the search or switch to a different rotation status filter. However, they will not stay checked if you leave the Rotation screen altogether.

Once you have selected the rotations, in the Rotation table navigation bar, click the "Select" bottom, and from the drop-down, click the Bulk Decide button.

Step 4:

The Bulk Decide screen allows you to view Rotation information (ID, Site, School, Program, Start & End Dates, Shift Times, and Type of rotation). You can change the Status and Unit in each row by clicking the drop-down.

Update each row as needed. Once finished, click "Submit" to save your changes.

Rotation Comments
Commenting on rotations is a great way to communicate with your school or clinical site partners regarding a particular rotation. Each comment left on a rotation will trigger an automatic email notification to other coordinators who share the same program.
Rotation Conflict Checker
The Conflict Checker can be used to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts with other rotations. The Conflict Checker will search for any conflicts based on the following fields: Unit, Start/End Date, Days of the Week, and Shift Start/End.
Export Selected Rotation Data
Export selected rotation data to a single CSV file or multiple files. The Mass Export All feature exports all rotations and member information into one CSV file.
