Join a Community

Join a Community in ACEMAPP

ACEMAPP Communities allow you to see news and updates and connect with recruiters from organizations you're interested in. You may be prompted to connect with an organization's community after you've been assigned to a rotation with them.

To Follow a Community (Automatically)

If you complete a rotation with an organization that has a "Community" profile in ACEMAPP, you will receive the following prompt:

Click "Connect" to start following this community.

To Follow a Community (Manually)

Step 1:

New ACEMAPP Members will receive a prompt to turn on ACEMAPP's Candidate Feature when first assigned to a Rotation to an entity attached to a community.

Click on Profile in the navbar.

Or you can click your avatar/name and then click on "Profile."

Step 2:

On the General tab of your Profile, enable the Candidate feature by switching the toggle to Yes. This gives you another member type to select (Professional).

Step 3:

Navigate to your new Professional account, click on your name/avatar, and in the Navigation panel (middle of the screen), click on "Professional."

Step 4:

You can find Communities to join as you look at their opportunities. To get started, let's do a Job Search.

Click on the "Job Search" button.

You may also wish to update your Job Areas as this will help narrow down results.

In the Job Search filter, select the Profession; by default, this is based on the original Program/Profession your account was created with. You can update this information by updating your Profession in your Profile on the Professions tab.

Click the "Search" button.

Step 5:

Results
In the Results page, click on the "View" (eye) button.

Step 6:

Click the "Join This Community" button to follow this community and be notified of any updates they post.
