Enabling Google 2-Step Verification

For increased security, ACEMAPP allows you to enable Google 2-Step Verification. If you choose to follow this process, you will need to enter your ACEMAPP password and a unique code from your mobile phone (using the Google Authenticator mobile app) every time you log in. This extra layer of security will protect your account with both your password and your phone.

To enable 2-Step Verification, download and install the "Google Authenticator" app (available for Android, iPhone, and iPad).

Step 1:

To access the Google 2-Factor Authorization feature, you can click on your name in the upper-right corner of ACEMAPP and select the "Profile" tab under the Personal menu or select *"Profile"** from the menu on your main member homepage.

Step 3:

  • Scan the QR code image using the Google Authenticator app.
  • Enter the authentication code in the Activate Here field.
  • Click "Save" to finish.

NOTE: Resetting your password (via the forgot-password feature) will clear and reset your 2-Step Authentication settings. You will need to re-enable 2-Step Authentication to reactivate this feature.

This will not remove the old 2-Step code from your device.
