ACEMAPP Hosts First Nationwide Symposium

We were thrilled to host our first-ever ACEMAPP Symposium on June 21, 2022. This virtual meeting convened nearly 300 members from all over the country. Our members joined us from schools and clinical sites from Michigan to Georgia, from Oregon to South Carolina, and beyond.

We started the morning with a welcome from Craig Donahue, Vice President and COO of Michigan Health Council (MHC). ACEMAPP was developed in 2008 by MHC in response to limited clinical education opportunities across Michigan. Since then, it has grown to be used by a variety of health care programs nationwide. Donahue began by thanking everyone for their partnership, in acknowledgment that our work would not be possible without your support and participation.

Next, partners from Cleveland Clinic, Brenau University, and Wellstar Health System discussed the innovative ways they are using ACEMAPP to streamline their clinical education processes, find new ways to educate students during the pandemic and increase preceptor participation. The morning continued with sessions on recent ACEMAPP system updates, tips and tricks, and the new communities feature.

In the afternoon, coordinators had the opportunity to network with fellow program coordinators from across the country in the following settings:

  • APRN
  • Allied Health
  • Credentialing, Badging, and Security
  • MD/DO
  • Nursing
  • PA
  • Rehab and Pharmacy

Our team understands the importance of providing secure, measurable, and actionable data, which led us to end the day with reporting breakouts for schools and clinical site members. The final sessions went over a variety of ways to export data, including both our most popular and most underutilized reports.

We hope you found this event to be both valuable and informative. If you weren't able to join us, we hope to see you next time! If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact us at support@acemapp.org or 844-223-4292.
