Improving Student Experiences Through a Standardized Process

Students are often tasked with a long list of requirements to complete before a rotation begins and limited time to fulfill them. ACEMAPP supports students by providing a single space to upload requirements for both schools and clinical sites.

It’s critical for students to have positive clinical experiences so that they can better learn and understand the profession they’re working toward. Health systems also need to make a positive impression, as they may seek to hire them following graduation. The ACEMAPP team works to ensure that onboarding and offboarding are not barriers to clinical rotations but simply steps along the way to their future healthcare careers.

Creating A Central Repository
Most students will have rotations across multiple units and facilities, and the consistent internal communication process allows them to move seamlessly from one rotation to another while avoiding the duplication of effort and additional expense of time re-uploading required documentation.

ACEMAPP gives clinical coordinators and other health system management staff the tools and resources necessary to help students at every juncture of their educational rotations. This allows health system staff to provide detailed guidance to get the students where they need to be and enables them to educate students about the features and available resources that will allow them to get the most out of their educational experience. This becomes especially important during times of transition when new rules and processes are being put into place.

We also act as a facilitator for schools and sites to connect and discuss clinical education priorities in their region, whether online or at in-person meetings.
